A visitation for Mr. Willie F. “Frankie” Heard III, age 46 of Ashland, will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Mr. Heard entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the age of 46. He was born and raised in Clay County, Alabama to the parentage of Willie Heard Jr. and Patricia Hunter Heard. He accepted Jesus as his savior at an early age and still professed his faith until his death. He said on his death bed, “Everything is good with me and God.” He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything that came his way. He always had a smile on his face, never met a stranger, and was a joy to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adrienne Heard; Mother, Patricia Pearson; Father, Willie Heard Jr; grandparents: Curtis and Betty Jo Hunter and Roseanna and Willie Heard Sr.
He was survived by his 7 children: Denisha Ford (Fiance Montavion Chatman) of Ashland, Kevin Heard (Casey) of Roanoke, Patricia Heard of Tuscaloosa, Justin and Lori Heard of Lineville, and Lydia and Hadessa Moore of Anniston; 9 grandchildren: Teddy, Zylan, Messiah, Maliyah, Averly, Evan, Nathan, Jaxon, and Kyleigh; five brothers: Marquis Ballard of Lineville, Andre Heard (Joyce) of Kellyton, Patrick Heard (Shannon) of Millerville, Victor Pearson (Becky) of Talladega, and Tyrone Pearson of Manhattan, NY; four sisters: Erika Heard of Alexander City, Kimberly Heard (Spencer) of Ashland, Willianna Heard of Chicago, IL, and Andrea Welch of Childersburg; three bonus brothers: Mitch Wright (Tracy), Michael Dean (Jessica) and Jermaine Ware; plus a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and extended family.
