William “Willie” Alton Lott passed away in Birmingham on March 6, 2013, at the age of 53. Willie’s Memorial will be June 3, 2013, at 3 p.m. at McKendree United Methodist Church in Danville. Captain Dan Matthews will be officiating. Willie was preceded in death by his father, William Franklin Lott.
He is survived by his mother, Rosa Atkins Lott; one brother, Ernest Franklin Lott (Christy) of Hartselle; two sisters, Louan Lott Rose (Robert) and Kim Lott of Trinity; three nieces and one nephew; and his beloved dog, Theo. Willie spent the last two years with The Salvation Army in Birmingham where he drove a van for their Adult Rehab Center.
