William “Will” Ennis Prout, Jr., 74, died peacefully Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in his home with his wife, Sara Prout, and a caregiver from Gentiva Hospice Care in Saltillo, Mississippi. He is now at rest, surrounded by the unconditional love of God.
Will was born in Cleveland, Mississippi on January 13, 1950. He married Sara Prout in 1991 and worked alongside her as a Park Host in various campgrounds maintained by the U.S Army Corps of Engineers in Mississippi, Alabama, Kansas and Tennessee.
Will is preceded in death by his parents, William Ennis Prout, Sr. and Virginia Reese Prout.
He is survived by his wife, Sara; sister, Ruth Coleman (Randy) of Kansas; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
An inurnment service for Mr. Prout will be held at Saltillo Cemetery for the family.
