William Webster Burden, Sr., 78, of Leighton, AL passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. There will be a service announced at a later date.
He served in the 4th Armored Division from 1968-1970. They were considered the break through crew. He went to the reserves 35th Armored Division from 1970-1976. His motto was “if its broken fix it, if its not then modify it!!”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Eva Mae Burden; four brothers; four sisters.
He is survived by his son, Wiliam (Billy) Webster Burden, Jr. (Alissa); daughter, Melissa Ann Burden; brother, Carrol Burden (Catherine); granddaughter, Eva Noelle Burden.
