William Virgil Powell Sr., 78, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, in Alabaster Alabama.
He was a retired Southern Baptist Preacher for over 50 years.
Mr. Powell is survived by his Wife of 58 years, Mrs. Brenda Joyce Powell, Sons, William Powell Jr. (Claudia Brantley Powell), Nolan Andrew Powell (Reagan Reese Powell), Grandchildren, William Brantley Powell, Evan Alexander Powell, Cameron Ferguson, Reese Kathyrn Powell, Davis Andrew Powell, Brothers, George Powell, Wayne Powell, and Floyd Powell.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George & Pearl Powell, Sisters, Faye Glass, Doris Shelton, Ilene Kirby, Lou Hampton.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM at Rudder Funeral Home of Stevenson. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
