William "Bunk" Brown William Vernon “Bunk” Brown

Bunk, as he was called by all who knew him, was born October 21, 1935. Most knew he drove a truck for several years and met Virginia Sue Jenkins, at a cafe ran by her parents in Doyline, Louisiana. They were married December 9, 1956 and celebrated 65 almost 66 years of marriage. Bunk was a very hard working, loving and generous person. He made many friends over the years. If there was a dollar for every time you asked if someone knew Bunk Brown, our family would be millionaires, but we had something better. Having him for a Husband, Daddy, and Pappaw was the greatest blessing and we are so thankful for the life he lived and all the wonderful precious years.
