Funeral services for Mr. William (Tony) Cupples “Polock”, age 69, are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2021 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery in Henderson. Mr. Cupples passed away Saturday in Lexington. He was born August 24, 1951 in Chester County to the late Leonard Columbus and Virginia Lorraine Rouse Cupples. A former EMT and National Guardsman, he retired from Proctor and Gamble, while serving his community for over 30 years as a volunteer fireman. Known by his friends as Polock, he enjoyed riding horses, helping others through trail rides and benefits, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his son, Michael Cupples (Jana); two daughters, Lisa Cupples and Amy Cupples Daniels; his sister, Cara Holmes (Robert); and nine grandchildren. Mr. Cupples is preceded in death by two sisters; Nancy Shumate, Lavelle Weeks, and one brother Clifford Rouse. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3-9 PM and on Saturday 9 AM – 1 PM.
