Mr. William (Tim) Timothy WiseWilliam “Tim” Wise, born on September 2, 1952 in Birmingham, Alabama, was called home by
his Heavenly Father at age 72 on November 11, 2024. Tim served in the United States Army
during the Vietnam War, after which he worked as a Master Electrician for the City of
Birmingham until retirement. His greatest job, however, was that of serving and loving his Lord
and his family. He was a fisherman, an avid Alabama Football fan, and a lover of old Westerns.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter with his wife, Missie Rogers-Wise; his children,
Stephanie Shelby (Brad), Jami Harrison (Hank), Traci Rogers, and Josh Rogers (Laura); his
seven grandchildren, Jake Shelby, Nathan “Bones” Shelby, Savana Harrison, Brianna Turner,
Brooke Mathis, Hank Harrison, Jr., and Ava Rogers; brothers, Paul Wise and Fred Wise, Jr.
(Kathy); sisters, Becky Cutcher and Ellen Duckworth (Daryl); as well as countless “bonus”
children, grandchildren, and cherished friends.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Wise, Sr., and Orene Wise; and his brothers,
Dean Wise and Alan Wise.
In honor of Mr. Wise, a visitation will be held at Guntersville Memorial Chapel on Sunday,
November 17, 2024. Family will be received from 10:30 AM to 11 AM. Friends will be received
from 11 AM to 1 PM, with funeral services to follow. Tim’s final resting place will be Click Hollow
Cemetery in Woodville, Alabama, following the funeral.
