William Thomas “Billy” Wilks Jr, age 61 of Decherd, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. He was born in Nashville on February 16, 1962, to the late William Thomas and Francis (Sullivan) Wilks. Before his retirement, he had been employed as a welder. Billy enjoyed listening to music and loved a good day of fishing. His wonderful sense of humor would light up a room. Billy will be missed by many friends and family members. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Moore-Cortner Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
