Graveside Services for Mr. William “Terry” Tidwell, age 57 of Ashland, will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Ashland City Cemetery with Rev. Scott Epperson officiating.
Terry passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Clay County Hospital. Born in Wyoming, he spent the majority of his life in Clay County. He spent many years working as a roofer, and worked for Tru Cabinets for the last two years. Terry loved going fishing and camping, but spending time with his family most. He loved his cats, and enjoyed reading, specially Western and Sci-Fi books. Terry was attending Fairview Christian Church.
He is survived by his three aunts, Ruth Tidwell of Wadley, Juanita Tumlin of Delta and Helen Lafountain of Beulah, two nieces, April Hogland and Sheila Tidwell, both of Alexander City, multiple cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Tidwell, Sr. and Pearl Tumlin Tidwell, and his brother, Bennie Tidwell.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville.
