William Terrell Permenter, 61, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Born December 19, 1962, in Memphis, TN, he was the son of Billy W. and Willie Mae Permenter. He served as a pastor at Pinedale Church of the Lord Jesus Christ for sixteen years, was a former employee of Southern Motion Inc, and worked as a brick mason for many years. Terrell honed his masonry skills through the United States Department of Labor Bureau of Apprenticeship in Memphis, TN, and attended Apostolic Bible College. His greatest joys were his church, family, music, fishing, making people laugh, and most importantly, leading souls to Christ.
Predeceased by his parents, sister Carol Jean Haley, and niece Brenda Lynn Haley, he is survived by his wife Susan Permenter; children Amber Nichole Robinson (Chris), Amanda Beth Parker (Jace), and William Terrell Permenter Jr. (Bradyn); sister Vicki Lynn Dunwoody (David); nieces and nephews Nerissa Lynn Dunwoody (Wendy), Johnathan David Dunwoody (Merhetta), Christie Rene Castleberry (Brian), and Dustin Wayne Haley (Geneva); uncle Glenn Permenter (Patricia); and six grandchildren, Chri, Harper, Allie, Greyson, Kalli, and Brelynn.
Services are scheduled for 3 PM Saturday, November 16, 2024, at West Pontotoc Pentecostal Church in Pontotoc, with visitation starting at 12 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Clint Long, Bro. Greg Harris, Bro. Porterfield, Bro. Phillip Cook, and Bro. Eugene Taylor.
Pallbearers include Jace Parker, Chris Robinson, David Dunwoody, Bo Turner, Phillip Dillard, and Russell Trim.
