William Ross “Billy Ross” Murphree, 83 of Arab passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, at his home. He was born September 9, 1940, in Blount County the son of Finis Murphree and Audrey Parrish Murphree. He was married to Patricia Ann Rucker Murphree.
He is survived by his wife: Pat Murphree; sons: Rodney Murphree and Allen Talley (Wanda); grandchildren: Dallas Talley and Chasity Talley; sister: Patsy Shepherd. He was preceded by his parents: Finis and Audrey Murphree; siblings: Jean Smith, Buddy Murphree, Linda Kelsoe and Boyd Murphree.
The family chose to honor his wished by cremation with no formal service. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Murphree with cremation arrangements.
