William Robert Hancock Jr passed away unexpectedly on January 16th 2021 at his home in Lakewood Colorado and was called home to be with his heavenly father. William was born and raised in Toney AL and was the eldest son of William Robert Hancock Sr and Larri Hancock and a big brother to Gage Hancock. William graduated from Sparkman High School, where he played football and cheered. He then moved on to Jacksonville State University where he received his Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. He cheered for the Gamecocks while he was attending JSU. William then got his Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration/Science at Columbia Southern University. William was loved by everyone and his heart and soul were so giving, and he was best known for his love for his family. He would always be there if you needed him. Heavenly father received another angel and William will be definitely missed by all that knew him.
William was preceded in death by his father William Robert Hancock Sr, and leaves behind grandmothers Dianne Speegle and Loretta Luna, aunts Michele Boucher, Teppi McBride, and Trudi Beard and uncle Larry McBride. And a host of cousins.
Funeral with be held Sunday January 24th, 2021 at Berryhill Funeral Home. Family viewing with be at 9am-10am and friends may visit at 10am-10:45. There will be a graveside service at Maple Hill Cemetery. Because of the pandemic and social distancing the CDC guidelines will be enforced. Wear a mask.
