Funeral services for William Robert (Bobby) Smith, 59, Florence, will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Chapel, Collinwood, TN with Caleb Cunningham officiating. Interment following at Railroad Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Josh Stults, Tres Hill, Bobby Wilson, Steve Burns, Jason Davis, and Tim Austin.
Bobby, a native of Florence, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, William L. Smith, sisters, Elizabeth Burns, and Lois Jean Wilson. Bobby was formerly employed at Angelica in Collinwood. He is survived by his only child, Wendy Smith Franks, Madison, AL, mother, Betty L. Smith, sisters, Faye (Steve) Davis, Susan (Tracy) Stults, and Nancy Reed all of Florence, grandchildren, Tres Hill, Haley Hill, and Hannah Hill.
Bobby was a loving man with a huge heart, a passion for fishing, gardening, and the outdoors. He was a man that was loved by his family and will deeply be missed, not a minute will pass that we will not miss your sweet face.
