William Richard “Rick” Garrison, age 78 of Gallatin, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Celebration of Life Service, with Military Honors, will be Saturday, August 3rd at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
Mr. Garrison was born January 18, 1946, in Nashville to the late William Alexander Garrison and Frances Louise Norman Garrison. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Peggy Ann Croslin Garrison; and stepfather, Horace Graves. He is survived by sons, Mark Alexander Garrison (Brandi) of Gallatin and William Chase Garrison (Cindy) of Castalian Springs; daughters, Carla Christine Boze (Eddie) of Cottontown and Michelle Gregory (Nicky) of Greenbrier; sisters, Judy Heatherly of Granville and Ellen Deaver (Steve) of Granville; 8 grandchildren, Haley Garrison, Marleigh Garrison, Trevor Hand, Mason Garrison, Sadie Hand, William Brady Garrison, Marychase Garrison, and Jordan DeBerry (Brysen); and 2 great grandchildren, Luca James Walters and Hudson Dean DeBerry.
