Mr. William Rex Moore departed this life on Thurday, June 15, 2017 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 6 Months, 3 Days. He was born December 12, 1939 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late William Cranston and Virginia Duren Moore.
He was united in marriage to Jerry Lou Brewer on December 16, 1960.
Mr. Moore was a retired maintance worker with the Board of Education. He was a member of the Green River Baptist Church . He was well known for his passion of collecting Indian artifacts, arrow heads and flint napping. He was known as “The Rock Man”
He is survived by his wife Jerry Lou Moore , daughter, Belinda Duncan , granddaughters, Ashley Duncan and Brooke Duncan all of Waynesboro, TN., brother, Glendon Moore of Roanoke, AL.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by son, Mark Anthony Moore, brothers, Leon Moore and Dexter Moore, sister, Linda Kelley.
