William Raybon Morris, age 79 of Huntland passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A native of Huntland, he was born on May 26, 1941 to the late Lewis & Thelma Holman Morris. He worked as a self employed contractor for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to go hunting, fishing, and going for walks. His favorite thing though was to spend time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Little Lewis Morris, Lewis Jr. Morris, George Morris; sisters, Ruby Towry, Fannie Towry, and Nancy Pickett. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 52 years Kathy Roberts Morris of Huntland; sons, Stoney (Tia) Morris of Estill Springs, Rocky (Mary) Morris of Huntland; daughter, Chariety (Eric) Yarbrough of Belvidere; grandchildren, Rebekah (Logan) Stewart of Huntland, Brandon (Cassie) Yarbrough of Lynchburg, Trace Morris of Huntland, Zach Morris of Huntland, Peyton Morris of Estill Springs; siblings, Faye Pickett of Estill Springs, Dolly (Merle) Luttrell of Flintville, Herschel Morris of Flintville, Rickey Morris of Huntland, sisters in law, Geneva Hall of Huntland, Diannah ( Kenneth) Golden of Kelso, Betty Ann Vandiver of Elora, Mary (Marty) Jones of Huntland, Judy ( Bob) Stockman, Sandy (Dewayne) Steele of Huntland, Dorothy Edwards of Flintville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 5, 2021 in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge cemetery.
