Funeral services for Mr. William Ralph Harris age 87, of Ashland were held Tuesday August 4, 2020 in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Rusty Craig officiating.
Ralph was born in Elba, Alabama but had lived most of his life in Clay County. He was known in Clay County as “The Peach Man”, he worked for several years as a Journal Linesmen and was a 50 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He is survived by his Daughter and Son in Law; Dorinda and Scott Shaddix of Sterrett, two grandchildren; Kara Morgan Shaddix and Dalton Lee Shaddix, one brother and sister in law; Gerald and Kay Harris of Etta, MS, plus extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathaleen Horn Harris; his parents, Elmer Wheeler Harris and Myrtice Dean Harris, three brothers; Guwynn, Lowell, and Carry Harris, and his sister, Nettie Jean Harris.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
