Mr. William Otto Tolbert, age 65, of Empire passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Wells Celestial Gardens. Family will be accepting friends from 11:00 AM until time of service. Mark Brand and Brad Corley will officiate. Visitation will start at 5:00 PM Friday, July 2, 2020 at the funeral home. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is preceded in death by his wife Karen Fortner Tolbert; daughter, Angie Tolbert; grandson, Jake Norton; parents, J.T. and Evelyene Tolbert; brothers, Donald “Bant” Tolbert and Jack Tolbert; and sister, Betty Sue Lockhart.
He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Corley (Brad) of Empire and Vickie Cagle of Dilworth; son, Brock Tolbert (Bridget) of Dilworth; 10 grandchildren; one great grandson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
