William Morris Erby, 65, resident of Ashland, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union County following a brief illness.
Services honoring the life of Mr. Erby are private.
Mr Erby was born on April 11, 1957, the son of the late William C. and Bernece Moore Erby, received his education in the West Wood Public School System and was employed as a truck driver delivering parts for over 25 years before retirement.
A cheerful man who loved life, Mr. Erby found much pleasure in watching movies such as “Starwars” or anything scary and time shared with family on holidays such as Christmas.
Those left to cherish memories include one sister, Brenda Erby, one brother, Leonard Erby (Brenda Thweatt) and a host of neices and nephews including Saylor, Heath, Jay, Will and Brandon Erby, Cameron and Colby Malone, Zachery and Sean Clemons, Dylan Craig, Racheal Butler, Regina Malone, Kaylee Worley, Angela Burrows and Robert Herold
In addition to his parents, Mr. Erby is preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Herold and Barbara Erby, a brother, Rex Erby, nephew, Richard Herold, and a great nephew, Richard Herold.
