William Marvin “Mark” Pannell – Obituary

William Marvin “Mark” Pannell, 54,died Saturday, November 22, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit. He was born November 23, 1959, to David and Jackie Kitchens Pannell. He was a factory worker and a Baptist in belief. He was a veteran, serving in the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and drag strip racing.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 24, at the Norris Chapel Baptist Church in Mantachie with Bro. Michael Taylor, Bro. Anthony Tackett, and Bro. Shay Guess officiating. Burial will be private. McNeece – Morris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include three sons, Tyler Pannell of Tupelo, Patrick Pannell (Kesta),and Wesley Pannell, both of Fulton; one daughter, Jenny Lloyd of Tupelo; the mother of his sons, Connie Pannell of Fulton; his parents, Joe and Jackie Tackett of Mantachie and David Pannell of Saltillo; two brothers, Anthony Tackett (Dana) of Amory, and Jason Tackett (Lynn) of Mantachie; three sisters, Beverly Watson (Kevin “Lefty”) of Mooreville, Lisa Thompson and Lana Gardener, both of Tupelo.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jackey Wayne Tackett, and one sister, Shelly Pannell.

There will be a visitation time for family and friends after the service.
