William Luther “Bill” Snell, 88, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at North Ms. Medical Center, Iuka, MS. He was born in Water Valley, MS, was an electrician and a member of Way of Life Church.
Services will be Sunday, February 11, 4 p.m. at Way of Life Church, Tishomingo, MS with Bro. Scotty Young officiating. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by a daughter, Lori Williams; a son, Stephen Snell (Lisa); grandchildren, Joshua Patterson (Sheri), Jessica Blackman (Oden), Corey Snell, Wesley Snell (Haley) and Travis Snell (Stephanie); great-grandchildren, Katelyn Patterson, Ryan Patterson, Braiden Blythe, Ethan Williams, Nevaeh Williams, Brooklyn Williams, Malachi Snell, Jaxon Snell, Jordan Snell, Serenity Snell and Jameson Snell and a sister, Brenda Doss.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Snell and Opal Nichols Pugh; his wife, Connie R. Snell, a son, William L. Snell, Jr. and siblings, Richard Snell, Rex Snell, Iris Monty, Betty French and Selena Mech.
Pallbearers will be Jim Murphy, Jamie Harper, Ryan Patterson, Mike Hutcheson, Josh McCreary and Gary Lawrence.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 11, 2-4 p.m. at Way of Life Church.
