One of Tupelo’s most beloved physicians, Dr. William Lucian Wood, Jr., known by most as Dr. Bill, departed this life from his Tupelo residence on Sunday afternoon, April 7, 2024. A service celebrating his life will be held at 1 PM Thursday, April 11, 2024 at The Orchard in Tupelo with Dr. Bryan Collier and Pastor Will Rambo officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM-service time on Thursday only, all at The Orchard.
The family ask that memorials be sent to The Orchard, 1379 North Coley Road, Tupelo, MS 38801, the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society, P. O. Box 2143, Tupelo, MS 38802, or to a charity of your choice.
A full obituary will be posted on Tuesday and run in the Daily Journal on Wednesday.
