William Lee “Billy” Inman, age 63 of Muscle Shoals, with his family at his side, left this world for one free of sickness, pain and suffering on February 6, 2013. He is loved by so many and will be truly missed. His family will receive friends, Friday, February 8, 2013 from noon until 1 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. Billy was a Colbert County native and was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Eva Ruth Inman of Leighton and sister, Judy Terry. He worked for Ford Motor Company until it closed and later retired from Delphi in Decatur. He was best known for his love of collecting, metal detecting, estate sales, auctions, antique cars and numerous calls to the party line, always looking for a bargain. His extremely dry wit and ability to make a joke without ever cracking a smile are legendary. He has left many interesting, hilarious, and unforgettable memories behind. He touched a lot of lives and long after he is gone he will still have the power to bring smiles and laughter to those who knew him best.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Inman; daughters, Beth Cleveland, Heather Black, and son, Brian Inman and wife Heather of Florence; eight grandchildren Koral, Beau, and Brock Black; Darby, Tyler, and Jackson Inman; Taylor Tollefsrud and Samuel Jones.
Pallbearers are Jackie Berryman, Clay Askew, John Robert Townsend, Beau Black, Brock Black and Chopper Madison.
