William Lang passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. He was born March 7, 1943, in Morgan County, to William Bradford Lang and Lula Mae Thompson Lang.
William was retired from 3M in Decatur after 32 years of dedicated employment. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed taking walks with his dog, Harah, when he could.
He was preceded in death by his father William B. Lang, his mother, Lula Mae Thompson Lang, sisters; Gladys Lang, Wilesa Resse Land and Martha Lee Ubanks and his brother; Jerry Lang.
Surviving is his loving Wife of 59 years – Barbara Lang

Michael Lang (Beverly)
Grandchildren – Grace and Noah Lang
a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for William Lang, 81, will be Monday, April 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
