Funeral for William “Junior” Reeves, 87, of Trinity will be Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Agee officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Reeves, who died Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 at Lawrence Medical Center, was born Sept. 24, 1928, to William and Willie Reeves. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wanda Parker; his parents; five brothers, Olan Reeves, Bruce Reeves, Bobby Reeves, John Reeves and Clellie Reeves; and two sisters, Mildred Maddox and Lurleen Hughes.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Minnie Reeves; three sons, Pete (Sheila) Reeves, Buddy Reeves and David (Jannie) Reeves; two daughters, Sandra (Rabbit) Peebles and Vonda (Melvin) Floyd; brother, Richard Reeves; eight grandchildren, Tonya Terry, Miranda Hutto, Gannon Peebles, Jennie Terry, Brian Reeves, Brandon Reeves, Kay Creel and April Parker; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
