William Jeffrey Tidwell, 57 of Bear Creek, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at his residence.
He was born September 7, 1965, in Haleyville, Alabama. Jeff was a graduate of Phillips High School and spent many years assisting family members when they needed him. He loved all animals especially his dogs, Penny and Buster. Jeff had an infectious laugh that could make anyone smile. He loved his family, especially his best friend, Julia Tidwell. Jeff loved and was so proud of his sweet daughter Nikki. He loved cars, watching movies, and listening to music. Jeff was also a wiz in electronics.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville where services will follow at 2:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville.
Jeff is survived by his sister, Jenni Tidwell, daughter, Julia Nicole Tidwell; best friend, Julia Tidwell; cousin, Tim (Caressa) Doss; and their children, Nick, Christian, Jake, and Sophia.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Tidwell, father, Lavoun Tidwell; grandmothers, Maudie Tidwell and Jessie Doss; and grandfathers, William Tidwell and Filo Doss.
