William James Specker – Obituary

William James Specker, 64, a native of Lauderdale County, passed away Oct. 7, 2013. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, from noon-1 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with a funeral mass beginning at 1 p.m. Officiating will be Father Edward Markley, O.S.B. A rosary will be said at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow the service in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

Mr. Specker was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Helen Berrens Specker; brother, Raymond Specker; and sister, Mary Ellen Behel.

He is survived by his daughters, Frances Bradley (Darrell) and Melissa Specker (Tim Lynch); brother, Lawrence J. Specker (Mary Margaret); sisters, Rose Neal (Jerry) and Joan Hancock; and grandchildren, Wiley, Eli, Sophia and Nyla Bradley.

Active pallbearers will be Steve Behel, Richard Behel, Anthony Neal, Sean Hancock, Nicholas Specker and Lawrence Specker.

Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Specker, Justin Hancock, Houston Hancock and Michael Behel.
