William Howard Hill, age 74, of Quinton passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Hill retired from the railroad after 3o plus years of service. After retirement, he spent most of days hunting and fishing. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Oak Grove Church of Christ with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Adam Hicks will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Annie Hill; and wife of 48 years, Getina Hill. He is survived by his children, Christopher Howard Hill (Jennifer), Amy Hill Noles (Brent), Bryan Hill, Michael Hill and Teresa Hill Spurger (David); brothers, Gary and Randy Hill; grandchildren, Brittany Hill Williams, Joshua Hill, Melody Hill, Cody Noles, Riley Noles, Shae Yates, Joshua Spurger, and Aaron Spurger; great grandchildren, Jasper Spurger and Judah Spurger; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
