William Homer Woodson, Jr., age 90, passed away on November 3, 2023, at Shepherds Cove Hospice. He was born on December 19, 1932, to the late William, Sr. and Alma Woodson.
William was a dedicated and proud United States Air Force Veteran who served his country with honor and distinction. His commitment to duty exemplified the values of service and sacrifice. In his younger years, William was known as an avid outdoorsman, finding great joy in fishing and hunting.
William is survived by his cousins, David (Charlene) Stone and Eddie Stone, along with a host of other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A funeral service to celebrate William’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Larry Walls officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday, starting at 12:00 pm, providing an opportunity for friends and family to offer their condolences and support.
Following the funeral service, William will be laid to rest at Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden, Alabama, paying tribute to his final resting place. In this time of sorrow, we remember William Homer Woodson, Jr., as a man who served his country, cherished the beauty of nature, and touched the lives of those around him.
