William Harris Jr, 88 of Elkmont, Alabama, passed away on Saturday November 11th, 2023, in his home. He was born in Ragsdale Creek, Alabama, on February 3rd, 1935, to parents William Harris Sr. and Clara Solomon Harris.
Mr. Harris is survived by his wife Doris Hicks Harris, of Elkmont; sister Ruby Buckner, of Cypress, Texas; son Ronnie Harris (Teresa), of Elkmont; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
William is preceded in death by his father William Harris; his mother Clara Soloman Harris; his sister Lois Heard; brothers Wayne Harris & Winford Harris; son Danny Harris; and his daughter Lisa Harris.
Funeral services for Mr. Harris will be held on Tuesday November 14th, 2023, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with visitation starting at 12pm to 1:45pm and service at 2pm with Ronnie Harris and Deryl Clem officiating. His pallbearers will be Dan Harris, Matthew Harris, Justin Turowski, Myles Bateman, Jimmie Cox, and James Swindle. His burial will be at Thatch-Mann Cemetery.
