William “Harold” Jones, age 72 of Fayette AL, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at his home. Services for Mr. Jones will be Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel, at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Bro. Leland Sapp and Bro. Caleb Sapp will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Saragoosa First Baptist Church Cemetery. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.
Harold is preceded in death by his wife; Rose Gardner Jones, and parents; William Dudley, and Frances Jones.
He is survived by his daughters; Gena (Leland) Sapp of Alex City AL, and Angie Kimbrell of Fayette AL, son; Phillip (Michelle) Jones of Meridianville AL, sister; Faye (Greg) Frost of Nauvoo AL, brothers; Kenny (Donna) Jones of Townley AL, Richard (Leigh Ann) Jones of Nauvoo AL, and Dennis (Amy) Jones of Nauvoo AL, grandchildren; Caleb (Cheyenne) Sapp, Noah (Grace) Sapp, Jacob Jones, Chandler Jones, Annabelle Jones, Lucas (Savannah) Kimbrell, Landon Kimbrell, Brandon Dockman, and Caitlin (Steve) Stephens.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Jones, Lucas Kimbrell, Landon Kimbrell, Noah Sapp, Greg Harville, Martin Vintson, Chris Jacks, and Tyler Jacks.
