William Harold Crow, 77, of Houston, AL passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville. Visitation will be from 1 till 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, at New Home Baptist Church in Moreland. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rex Riddle officiating. Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home assisting the family.

Born on August 1, 1944 to the late William Riley and Julia White Crow, William worked at Grayson Lumber Company for 21 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Donna Vance, David Crow, Melissa Standridge; 15 grandchildren, including Bradley Crow (Jennifer) who was raised like his son; 15 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Les Crow and Jerry Crow; sisters, Judy Melson, Brenda Andrews, Joyce Crow, Pamela Pyburn, Debbie Petterson and Marilyn Forehand; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

William was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Crow; daughter, Diana; granddaughter, Marie; siblings, Don Crow, Linda Webb, and Edith Crow.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Vance, Jason Vance, Matthew Vance, Roy Riddle, Daniel Riddle, Jimmy Melson.

The family extends special thanks to the nursing staff and doctors at Lakeland Community Medical Center for their wonderful care.
