William H. Cannon, age 59 of Decherd, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, he was born on September 29, 1964, in Sewanee. William was previously employed as a truck driver and had previously worked at Henley’s for twenty years. His wonderful personality, as well as ability to make others laugh, will be remembered by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Hattie Mae Byers; parents, Wilburn Cannon and Mattie Louise Stephens. William is survived by his loving children, JoJo Cannon, Chris Cannon, William Cannon Jr, Dalton Cannon (Leah Smith), Riley Cannon, and Brittany Cannon (Mason Eley); eighteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Private family services are planned.
