William Floyd Glover – Obituary

WilliamWilliam Floyd Glover age 71, of Muscle Shoals died Friday, March 15, 2013. Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Sonny Owens and Brother Charles Kretzer officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be the men of Eastwood Church of Christ. Mr. Glover was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ. He was retired with Reynolds Alloys and U.S postal service and served in the Alabama National Guard. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Ann P. Glover; Parents, James and Tilda Glover; Sister, Rose Glover; Brother, Roland Glover, and also best friend pet, “Emmy”. Survivors are his wife, Rachel Glover; Son, Bronson Glover; Two step-sons, Max and David Snoddy; Two Stepdaughters, Darlene Kennamore, and Melissa McKay; Brothers, Charlie Glover (Geneva), James Glover, Jr. (Aggie), and Jackie Glover (Francis); Sisters, Bertha Wilson, Louise Thigpen, and Jeanette Brandenburg (Paul). Five Grandchildren, Two Great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and his little buddy “Bingo”.


Service at 2:00 PM at Spry~Williams Funeral Home on Friday, May 17th, 2013
