William Farley, Jr. – Obituary

William Farley, Jr., 76, of Moulton passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Hollis Retherford, Earl Holt, and Gary Parker officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

A lifetime member of Bethany Baptist Church, Mr. Farley was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber for over 35 years. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Mr. Farley will be missed by many others as well.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Elsie Mae Myers Farley; sons, Joseph G. Farley (Christine), Donnie W. Farley (Janet), and Timothy D. Farley (Sue); four grandchildren, Cassy Leigh Farley, Jonathan Farley (Ellen), Blair Farley, and Joshua Farley; two step-grandchildren, Patrick Davis and Angela Fowler (Ripley); one step-great grandchild, Karson Terry; one brother, Hershell Farley, and three sisters, Virginia Lovelady, Thelma Cagle, and Melba Kirby.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Anderson and Myrtle Virginia Beavers Farley

Pallbearers will be Tyler Stark, Wendell Mitchell, Heath Davis, Patrick Davis, Matthew Blankinship, and Ripley Fowler.
