William “Eugene” Parker, age 76, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 3:00pm at Shiloh Pinhook Methodist Church with graveside services and burial to follow in Shiloh Pinhook Cemetery. Bro. Daniel Phillips and Bro. Scott Parker to officiate. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral service from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.

Eugene was born on November 9, 1946 in West Point, MS to the late James Arthur Parker and the late Lucille Frances McKenzie Parker. He attended West Point High School. Eugene retired from Babcox-Wilcox in Columbus, MS. He was also a Gospel singer and sang with many different groups. He was very strong in his Christian faith and won several people to the Lord. He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing.
