William Eugene “Bud” Seay age 80 passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at North Alabama Medical Center, Florence. Alabama.
Bud was born in Franklin County on May 4, 1943 to Ralph and Arlenia Seay.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Malcom Seay; brothers, Pete Seay, Burns Seay, Bill Seay, John Seay, Ricky Seay; sisters, Patsy Seay, Janie Smith.
Bud was survived by daughter, Laura Butler (Rick); sons, Darryl Seay, Brandon Seay (Jess); sisters, Glenda Pearson (Jimmy), Darlene Fortner (Scotty); brothers, Jeff Seay (Tina), Mike Seay (Charlotte); grandchildren; Ashton Lewey (Josh), Chase Johnson (Whitney), Caleb Seay (Madalyn), Jarrod Seay (Aundrea), Maddie Seay, Abby Seay, Colt Seay; 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 11:00 – 1:00 with funeral service following at 1:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home Chapel.
Bro. Daniel Parrish and Bro. Delmer Duboise will be officiating the service. Burial will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Highway 724, Russellville, Alabama. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
Akins Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
