William Ernest Patrick, age 81, of Athens passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016. He was born on June 10, 1935 in Athens, Alabama to Paul and Lucille Meadows Patrick.
Mr. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Jimmy Patrick and Bobby Patrick.
He is survived by his wife Annette Patrick; son, Roger Patrick, (Debra); daughters, Vicki Stanford (James), Beverly Russell (Jackie), Lynne Patrick, and Kim Patrick; brother, Leonard Patrick, eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 2:00 at Mt. Carmel Church of Christ with Odis Duncan officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1:00-2:00 at the church.
Mr. Patrick was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of Christ. He loved hunting, fishing, and being on the river.
