Funeral Service for William Ercel Burks, Sr., age 82, of Cullman, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home; interment in Center Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Burks passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at Cullman Health Care Center. He was born May 23, 1937, to Criss and Opal Burks.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elwanda Burks.
Survivors include his daughter, Loria (Jonathan) Burks; son, William E. (Becky) Burks; daughter, Donnia Burks Powers; son, Michael Burks; son, Marty (Tiffany) Burks; grandchildren, Felicia Giles Smith, Adam (Jessi) Giles, Hannah (James) Samples, Devin Burks, Selena Burks, Brittany Powers (Jonathan) Shaddix, Bryant Powers, Ally Burks, Eli Burks, Bella Burks, Chey Burks, Samantha Camper, Spencer Jones, Maci Jones, and Maddie Jones; great-grandchildren, Shawn Giles, Joseph Smith, Joel Giles, and Keiran Samples; brother, Kenneth (Sheila) Burks; sister, Marthann Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
