Mr. William E. Hicks passed away on May 9, 2023. He is survived by his daughters Donie (Brian) Casle, Tammy (James) Glaze, brother Ted (Linda) Hicks, grandchildren Lexie Mitchell, Kendall Aaron, Cortney Conway Andrews, Amber Hayleigh Stephens, Nathan Kyle Andrews, Destiny Jenna Hicks and Jody Hicks, great grandchildren Cohen and Maddox Mitchell, Colton and Waylon Aaron, Stella and Willow Andrews, and Alexis and Levi Stephens.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Eula Hicks, his father and mother-in-law James and Donie Mae Wilkerson, his wife of 50 years and forever love Shirley Hicks, son William H. Hicks and great granddaughter Kensley Mae Aaron.
William loved his grandchildren, he really enjoyed driving anything that could be driven and was a good-hearted person.
A funeral service will be held Friday, May 12, 2023, at 11am from New Horizon Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday May 11, 2023, from 6pm until 8pm. Burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery.
