Funeral services for Mr. William E. Brantley, age 96, are scheduled for 3 PM, Monday, June 22, 2020 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Brantley passed away early Friday in Adamsville. He was born September 22, 1923 in Henderson County to the late John W. and Bertha Barker Brantley. He was former factory worker at Decaturville Sportswear, farmer, and was a member of Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church. Mr. Brantley loved music and Roy Acuff was his favorite. He enjoyed bee-keeping, growing strawberries, and electronics. He was preceded in death by two children, Noel G. Brantley and Sharon Brantley. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Mrs. Era Austin Brantley; three sons, Ralph E. Brantley, Tony G. Brantley (Lisa), and Roger K. Brantley (Regina); eleven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
