William E. (Billy) Howells II, Lutts, Tenn., was born Jan. 28, 1966, in Allentown, Pa., the son of William (Bill) E. Howells, Waynesboro, Tenn., who survives, and the late Mary Hughes Howells. Mr. Howells was a welder with the Hon Company and was a member of the Christian Faith Church, Florence, Ala. He departed this life Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, Ala. at the age of 46 years, 8 months, 17 days after a battle with cancer. Other than his father, he is survived by his wife, Sharon Dixon Howells; and son, William E. Howells III, both of Lutts, Tenn.; sisters, Gail Foulke, Hendersonville, Tenn., Joan Howells, Slatington, Pa., Donna Floyd, Waynesboro, Tenn. Services will be Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tenn., with Dennis Hanvey officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery, Lutts, Tenn., with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
