William Drake Wilson, age 81, passed away on March 12, 2018.
William was born on January 18, 1937 to Dr. William Kindred Wilson and Madge Drake Wilson of Haleyville, Al.
Dr. Wilson was a dentist for 56 years, he was a Major in the United States Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War. William enjoyed outdoors, especially fishing. He coached youth baseball and loved doing charity work.
He is survived by two sons Kin Wilson (Sharon) and Todd Wilson, his loving wife of 56 years Judy Wilson and 5 grandchildren Gavin, Ganon, and Greyson Wilson and Cameron and Brody Collier.
He was preceded in death by his father William Kindred Wilson, who was a doctor, and his mother Madge Drake Wilson.
Public Viewing will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Madison Chapel Funeral Home. Services for Dr. William Wilson will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at 1:30 PM at Madison Chapel Funeral Home with John Dees officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
