William Dee Crenshaw, age 57, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Helen Keller Hospital.
William was married to the love of his life, Jody Gary Crenshaw and they had spent 31 years together. He loved being a truck driver and enjoyed working for 10 years in the Voluntary Fire Department. He loved big fish fries, was a diehard Elvis fan, loved traveling, and sitting in his recliner watching westerns. His family was always his first priority, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. William was a humble man who was always a good friend to everyone. He was a devoted husband, father, and PawPaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel & Betty Jean (Rhudy) Crenshaw; brother, Henry Crenshaw; aunt, Willamae Thompson; and his grandson, Ryker.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Jody Crenshaw; children, Tony Crenshaw (Megan), Blake Crenshaw (Morgan), Amber Crenshaw; Brandon Crenshaw (Katie), Braden Crenshaw; grandchildren, Alaina, Anniston, Ava, Ali, Clyde, Luna, William, Lilee Blake, Ana Lisa (Hunter) Lanford, Allen, Melody, Gemma, Kyleigh, great-grandchildren, Elijah, Korianna; sisters, Sandra, Lucy, Christy; special “coz” cousin, Alan Rhudy (Tonya); and several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 in the chapel. The burial will be at Spruce Pine Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Alan Rhudy, Cason Cox, Kevin McCormick, and Mickey Gentry.
