William David Butler, 62 of Addison, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
He was born February 11, 1962 to William “Bobby” Butler and Shirley Ruth Walker Butler. David was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a loving father and grandfather.
The visitation will be Friday, April 12, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. The funeral will be on Saturday, April 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Sardis Missionary Baptist Church in the Sardis Community where he will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
David is survived by his children, Jessicca (Jay) Carter, Kourtney (Brad) Wright, Chase (Raven) Butler, Kamron (Summer) Butler, Amber Cook, and Kenneth (Laura) Zule; mother, Shirley Ruth Butler; brothers, Ricky (Rhonda) Butler, Roger Butler, Andy (Marietta) Butler, and Danny (Lori) Butler; grandchildren, Dakota (Michael), Jayla Carter, Madisyn Carter, Mackenzie Carter, Joel Sladek, Alexis Sladek, Emeriey Butler, Easton Butler, Kolson Butler, Adeline Butler, Eleanor Butler, Blake (Dallis), Garrett, Shyanne (Chris), Elijah, Lydia Zule, and Kyle Zule; great grandchildren, Isaiah Prince, Josiah ; 4 nephews & 3 nieces, Tyler Butler, Casey Butler, Katie Butler, Hayden Butler, Reilly Butler, Macey Butler, and Hadley Butler.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Robert “Bobby” Butler.
