Funeral service for William D. “Skip” Hanline, 74, will be Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Hanline passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at his residence. He was born August 18, 1948, in Dupage County, Illinois, to Orville Hanline and Deloris Harder Hanline, who preceded him in death.
He was employed by General Motors as a Machine Operator, prior to his retirement. He was a very caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his family dearly. He held a Masters Degree in Art, was part of the Union Group called New Directions, and held the title of VVA President. He also made it in the Chicago White Sox and proudly served in the United States Marine Corp and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War.
