William Clyde Morgan – Obituary

WilliamWilliam Clyde Morgan, age 87, of Muscle Shoals, died Sunday, July 7, 2013. Visitation will be Wednesday, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Greg Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Morgan was a Colbert County native, was a veteran who served in the Marine Corp and was retired from Ford Motor Company after twenty seven plus years of service. The happiest times of his life were when he had a grandchild on his lap.

He is survived by his wife Ruby Aycock Morgan; son, Roger William Morgan and wife Debra Riddle Morgan; daughter, Sandra Morgan McBride and husband Tommy; grandchildren, Bill and Donna Woodis, Troy Woodis, Brett Woodis, Kevin and Tracy Morgan, Brittne and Stan Beasley; great grandchildren, Huston and Anna Grace Woodis, Bailey Woodis, Ashley Woodis, Braxton Elledge and Jackson Elledge.

Pallbearers are Bill Woodis, Troy Woodis, Brett Woodis, Huston Woodis, Larry Allen, Braxton Elledge, Jackson Elledge and Stan Beasley.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the nurses of Hospice of North Alabama for their loving care.

Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Myhan, Bill Radford, Kevin Morgan and Jimmy Morgan.
