William Clyde McCurry, age 82 of Lutts, Tennessee died October 7, 2012.Services will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Cromwell Crossroads Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery , Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangments.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 9, 6:00–9:00 pm and on Wednesday, October 10, 11:00 am until service time @ Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery, Collinwood, TN
Mr. McCurry departed this life on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 5 Months, 26 Days.
He was born April 11, 1930 in Lutts, TN the son of the late Robert Loyd and Mary Ellen Holt McCurry. In addition to his parents, Mr. McCurry was preceded in death by wife; Oma Sherrill McCurry; son, Robert Douglas McCurry; daughter, Judy Sherrill; brothers, John Marlin McCurry, Lee Edward McCurry and James Robert McCurry.
Mr. McCurry was a delivery truck driver and served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by daughter, Beverly Holtzapple and husband Tom of Westpoint, TN; granddaughters; Dana Tatum Harris and husband Tom; and Sarah Tatum
great grandchildren; Hannah Peck and Katie Harris ; special niece; Connie Furman ; sisters, Fannie Holcomb of Waterloo, AL, Mary Cardella of Tampa, FL; several nieces and nephews.
