William Claude Wood, III, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the age of 70.
Woody was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Boles Wood; parents, William Claude, Jr. and Lottie Jane Pittman Wood; brothers, Jerry Wood and Tony Wood. He is survived by his children, Chris Wood, Ashley Wood; siblings, Billy Jane Jones, Bonnie Lanier, Ricky Wood, Deb Hinnant, Teddie Gray; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Woody worked at Riverside Chevrolet. He was an Alabama fan and an avid golfer.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Rhodesville United Methodist Church, 6230 County Road 189, Florence, AL 35633.
